World Central Kitchen responds to catastrophic flooding in Vermont

World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team was on the ground as soon as it was safe to do so following catastrophic flooding in Vermont. We act with the urgency of now and work collaboratively with our partners to ensure nourishing meals reach communities impacted by disasters. The FedEx team embodied these values, working with us to get tools and equipment from Maryland to Vermont as quickly as possible. Jason—a FedEx driver—picked up seven boxes filled with a cooler, pans, food containers, and more essentials that by the next day were being used to feed Vermonters in need.
