AnQ Awakening program wins “Tribute to Model Innovation Award”


On December 2, the "Power of Innovation" 2020 CSR World Summit Forum and CSR World Innovation Award Ceremony hosted by CSR World was held in Guangzhou, China. FedEx won the "Tribute to Model Innovation Award" with its joint CRS program of “AnQ Awakening Class”.

Targeting children ages three to nine, the AnQ Safety Awakening Class delivers trauma prevention and health education. By combining cloud-based teaching with offline lessons, it raises awareness of safety among both children and their parents. In the face of COVID-19 pandemic, the traditional practice of CSR programs has been limited. FedEx adopted the "Internet plus Joint CSR" model through active exploration and innovation. The “AnQ Awakening Class” was created with the cloud technology and innovative education models.

During the two-month program, "AnQ Awakening Class" held 84 lectures, impacting a total of 26,833 children from 13 provinces cities and autonomous regions, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Xi'an and Xinjiang. In addition, the "AnQ Awakening Class" program combined the efforts of FedEx's internal employees and its SME customers, with more than 400 employees and customers participating as volunteers.
