Dress for Success: Inspiring hope and resilience among women

In September 2020, 865,000 women left the labor force - more than four times the number of men who left the labor force and more than three times the number of jobs gained by women that month.* The culprit – COVID-19.

With COVID-19 impacting women around the world at disproportionate rates, Dress for Success has kicked off a campaign, #YourHourHerPower, during Women’s History Month and International Women's Day to inspire hope and resilience among women at a time when they need it most.

As a company that supports organizations that promote inclusion, teach acceptance, and provide advancement for underrepresented populations, we are proud to join Dress for Success as they honor women’s achievements during the month of March and year-round.

FedEx has supported Dress for Success for years through support of mentorship opportunities, leadership development, and entrepreneurial development to create an environment where women and girls in our community can excel. FedEx also helped co-create and launch the FedEx Career Hub, an online tool to help women access job services such as creating a resume, searching for positions, and preparing for an interview remotely, on their own schedule.
