The FedEx Freight Field Engineering team spent some time at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park during a November department meeting in Salt Lake City.

The FE group tries to do two FedEx Cares events per year, one at each of their bi-annual department meetings. Since the most recent meeting took place during Veterans' Day Week, there was interest in doing a related project to show support for the veterans.

House of Grace Domestic Abuse Treatment Center

Nov 3, 2017

My team came up with a great donation to support Domestic Abuse. We were able to fill 33 bags for the Ladies and the Kids that are often found with only the items they left with. We filled bags with clothes, shoes, toys, toiletries any many more items. We hand delivered the bags to the facility, hopefully this small token will bring happiness to some one's life for a moment.
