FedEx Family House

Oct 31, 2017

No family should have to worry about housing or basic needs while their child is ill. Thanks to the FedEx Family House, families who have traveled to receive treatment at LeBonheur Children's Hospital don't have to. The FedEx Family House has been a part of the Memphis fabric for seven years thanks to Susan Graf and FedEx but it continues on with the hearts and hands of the community. The Corporate Systems and Governance team wanted to spread the love through donations of toiletries, snacks and lovies and did just that.

Government Services Supports The Fisher House Bethesda, MD Location

Oct 31, 2017

The Fisher House Foundation provides a peaceful, safe and comfortable place of refuge for the families of our wounded warriors so they can be close during the healing process. A quote on the Fisher House website sums it up best: “It’s a place where you can talk with people who are going through the same thing you are.” The Fisher House Foundation is responsible for managing the arrival and departure of the family members and providing all of the amenities; including meals, housekeeping and other essentials.

Derby District gives back.

Oct 30, 2017

The Derby District in Louisville,KY volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Metro Louisville on October 11th. Partnering with Google Fiber, the team helped frame a house for a single mother of three. The day consisted of two teams working together to put up walls and outlining the house's blueprint for the stairs to go in. What better way to team build then working hard in the rain? Why stop there?
