Genesis Women’s Shelter was founded in 1984 with a goal to not just help women, but to completely eradicate domestic violence. Their mission is to provide safety, shelter and support for women who have experienced domestic violence and to raise awareness regarding its cause, prevalence and impact. Each year they see 1200 women and children at the Emergency Shelter, Long-Term Housing Facility and Non-Residential Counseling Office. The women who come to them are in a fight for their life.

Operation Santa 2016

Chandler Christian Community Center has been the location Team Chandler has frequently chosen this year to help as part of the FedEx Cares United Way Campaign. We plan to end the year with our last collection of Purple Tote Bags with the Operation Santa program that Chandler Christian Community Center runs. The center helps lots of families in need of Food for Holidays and many are in need of Toys and necessities for the Holidays. To help with the Operation Santa program, Chandler Station adopted a few Families and will donate additional toys to the location.
