We were having a somewhat difficult time finding a location for FedEx Cares Day when the Newark YMCA came up. For 135 years, the Newark YMCA has served the community by providing programs for health, housing, recreation, and education. Upon visiting and meeting their dedicated staff, there was no question that the FedEx team had to help! Lewis & Clark District Partners with the Little Bit Foundation

Dec 7, 2016

When it was time for FedEx Cares in 2016, the Lewis and Clark District didn’t have any trouble deciding who we wanted to help with the Purple Tote program. Our team had volunteered at an organization in St. Louis called The Little Bit Foundation earlier in the year and we were all very impressed with what this group was doing for children in St. Louis schools. The Little Bit Foundation partners with public and private schools from elementary to high school in St. Louis to ensure that all the children have their basic needs met so they can focus on their education.
