House of Mercy

The House of Mercy is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2005 in Bristow, Virginia by Father Jack Fullen and Kellie Ross. What began as a prayer-centered ministry evolved into a movement of mercy where volunteers joined in prayer and service to relieve the suffering of the underprivileged, sick, and dying by performing the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. FedEx Freight Manassas selected House of Mercy, because they are a humanitarian organization dedicated to serving the hungry and anyone needing solace and care.

Each year they see 1200 women and children at the Emergency Shelter, Long-Term Housing Facility and Non-Residential Counseling Office. The women who come to them are in a fight for their life.

Upon visiting and meeting their dedicated staff, there was no question that the FedEx team had to help! When we realized the number of homeless people they house, we knew we had to use our Purple Tote Campaign to provide assistance.
