Make a Child Smile DFW1 Coppell

DFW1 in Coppell Texas sponsored 11 families and 25 children this holiday season. This is our 2nd year to participate.

The purpose of Make a Child Smile (intended solely for children enrolled in CISD and residing within the city limits of Coppell) is just what it says - to do our part to put big, happy smiles on the faces of all children in Coppell at Christmas time.

ENAS-382 Fills Purple Totes for the Wilson County Backpack Program

FedEx Cares brings Chritmas to children in Abangares

Last Saturday December 2nd, we had our annual FedEx Cares Christmas activity in Costa Rica, our 2nd activity in FY18. With the coordination of our Costa Rica FedEx Cares Committee lead by Carlos Diaz, more than 40 volunteers participated in the 2017 Christmas activity, for a total of 230 volunteer hours. FedEx employees, vendors and family members contributed in gathering Christmas gifts for 70 children of nearby communities in Abangares, all from low income families.

Chandler School Boosters, Inc./BASHA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SAFETY DAY - NASCAR VISIT

The Chandler Station recently visited Basha Elementary school, in Chandler, AZ. to speak with Children about the importance of SAFETY. Andrew Johnson Desert District Safety Specialist, along with Darin Bartholomew, Chandler’s Senior Manager, spoke to the 4th grade Special Education students regarding safety, and its importance in everyday life. After questions and answers, the children were given a guided tour of a FedEx Delivery van(donated by Welch4, Inc.).
