National Manufacturing Day

Governor Chris Cristie of New Jersey proclaimed the first official National Manufacturing Day in 2012. President Barack Obama signed the Presidential Proclamation in 2014. In recognition of National Manufacturing Day Bloom High school chose FedEx Freight , CGT as a tour site.

Helping Teachers

As the summer ended, the staff at FedEx Freight SMN came together for the teachers at Lakeview Elementary school in Lakeville, MN. The teachers were so excited to receive the 24 FedEx Cares purple tote bags of school supplies that our team put together. The FedEx employees located in the picture is driver Pat Moinichen, Operations Manager, Carl Chandler and Operations Supervisor Lisa Sanders with some of the staff at the elementary school.

FCUW Fort Worth & Coppell Campus - United Way of Houston - Hurricane Harvey In-Kind Donation Drive

The Fort Worth/Coppell campuses wanted like to fill as many purple tote bags as we could this year! Each building chose to focus on a specific area so we could collect a wide variety of items currently needed to support victims of Hurricane Harvey. Donations collected will be sent and distributed to United Way of Greater Houston.

Seattle Market FedEx Team Packs Hope for Heart to Heart International

You never know when you might need some extra help. That’s why several FedEx team members across Puget Sound gathered as part of a fall FedEx Cares event to pack hygiene kits for disaster victims. In light of the recent hurricanes, earthquakes and wildfires, team members were quick to offer their help. The kits were part of an organized distribution by Heart to Heart International, a non-profit whose mission is to strengthen communities through improving health access, providing humanitarian development and administering crisis relief worldwide.
