Fedex Cares-Austin-Mobile Loaves & Fishes Community First Gardens

The mission of Mobile Loaves & Fishes is to provide food and clothing, to cultivate community and to promote dignity to our homeless brothers and sisters in need. FedEx Cares volunteers worked in the Village Community Gardens. The CF! Village is a 27 acre community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for the disabled, chronically homeless in Central Texas. The village has 4 acres of gardens where volunteers worked alongside the resident gardening crew to expand and finish out their perennial garden beds.

FedEx Cares volunteers at The Boys and Girls Club of Haverhill, MA

The North Shore of Boston Field Sales team volunteered a half day at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Haverhill, MA. This was our third year in a row participating with the kids on homework help, artwork, indoor games, dancing and crafts. Over 200 kids interacted with our team and made this another special event.

Tunica Humane Society Volunteer Day

The loyal purple team returned again this year to Tunica Humane Society to offer assistance and support during the FedEx Cares volunteer day on Friday, Oct. 6th. Volunteers came from all over FedEx and included teammates from The Pilot Group, Crew Planning, Crew Staffing, Crew Travel Services along with a variety of volunteers from FedEx Services and FedEx Ground.
It was an eventful and productive day. As usual our volunteer day was filled with hard work, friendship, emotional moments and lots of puppy and kitty love.

Meal of Hope

The Florida Region Management team volunteering at "Meals for Hope" in Naples, FL, preparing meals for almost 1800 families in Immokalee, FL and in Puerto Rico, that were severely impacted by Hurricane Irma.

National Manufacturing Day

Governor Chris Cristie of New Jersey proclaimed the first official National Manufacturing Day in 2012. President Barack Obama signed the Presidential Proclamation in 2014. In recognition of National Manufacturing Day Bloom High school chose FedEx Freight , CGT as a tour site.
