On Saturday May 13, 2017, team members from the DFW metro gathered at Moore Elementary in Grand Prairie, TX and volunteered in their garden. Volunteers from FedEx Freight and FedEx Office were able to get the school garden weeded, furniture painted, flowers planted and a wisteria plant trimmed. It was a great day to be able to give back to our community, we were joined by Grand Prairie Independent School District's Teacher of the Year - Kandice Davis, Area Superintendent - Traci Davis and School Board Member - David Espinosa.
Volunteerism: The Core of FedEx Cares
volunteered by FedEx Team Members during the fall FedEx Cares campaign
Giving back is part of the FedEx culture. Team members support our charitable investments and local community needs by dedicating their time where they live and work around the world. Volunteerism is more than a one-time event or delivery.
