The Iron Horse Volunteer Day

The Iron Horse Volunteer Day

Nov 29, 2016

The Horn Horse team sponsored several charities in DFW. We volunteered at the North Texas Food Bank, where we boxed enough food for 10,000 Thanksgiving meals for seniors! We also were honored to help New Friends New Life. There we collected journals, clothes, treats, pens, and toiletry items for victims of trafficking.

We wanted to help New Friends New Life because they actually have a high record of actually impacting the community. They are advocates for teenagers and women who have been exposed to trafficking. This organization provides therapy and education to help empower them and to provide hope. The organization is dedicated stop trafficking, provide education for prevention, and be a general advocate for the victims.

Overall, we filled over 230+ Purple Tote Bags to help make a difference and contribute to a life of hope for many.
