Rise Against Hunger for FedEx Cares

Thursday, January 18, 2018

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., and his dedication to community and service, over 700 FedEx volunteers in 11 cities spent the 2018 MLK Day of Service packaging more than 190,000 meals to support Rise Against Hunger. Meals were packed in Memphis, Atlanta, Boston, Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Newark, Orlando, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Washington D.C. These meals will be sent to countries around the world such as El Salvador, Mexico, Haiti, Burkina Faso, South Sudan and Vietnam.

Headquartered in Raleigh, N.C., Rise Against Hunger is dedicated to ending hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-saving aid to the world’s most vulnerable and by creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources.
